Cafe du Bore

Soooooooo.... Cafe du Jour....... French Cafe on Whiteladies Rd. Where do I begin? No atmosphere, limited food options, minimal choice for vegetarians, weird atmosphere. Definitely not an inspiring establishment. Added to that if you want to experience some traditional French rudeness then knock yourself out - you are in for a treat.

There isn't a huge amount to say about the food. Dry baguette, boring fillings. To be fair I didn't try the cakes so they may improve the experience and the coffee is good strong coffee in generous mugs.

The vibe is posh clifton mums talking about school choices in loud posh voices and if they catch your eye they look straight through you like you aren't even their.

They do have computers for the public to use and the toilets are clean... (I am clutching at straws here)

Principally there is no atmosphere and there is nothing to make this cafe quirky or interesting. I wouldn't personally rush back> I don't even know what else to say! There is so much choice in Clifton and especially Whiteladies Rd/Cotham I think its useful as a last resort.
